Ethan Pervere of West Hartford, CT is an artist exploring how technology and media intersect to create a complete and meaningful composition. They have worked within the Eastern Connecticut State University Performing Arts Department as an Audio Technician, Scenic Designer, and Sound Designer. Their recent work has included serving as the Scenic Designer for Carrie The Musical in Fall 2023, Assistant Scenic Designer under the Scenic Designer Professor Kristen Morgan in Fall 2022 for Oedipus The King, as well The Nether By Jennifer Haley in Spring 2023, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee By Rachel Sheinkin in Spring 2023. Ethan is the Sound Designer for the Eastern’s Spring 2024 production of Blithe Spirit, and the Spring 2023 musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Ethan also worked as the Assistant Sound Designer for The Nether, under the Sound Designer Travis Houldcroft. The common thread through all of Ethan’s work is about uncovering how the human experience interacts with emerging technologies.
